Mood Change

Ok yeah I'll admit it, I'm in a better mood. I can't really tell you why. It's sure not the weather as it's chilly and the sun is just now at 11:30 AM starting to pop out nor the impending weekend forecast.

I did get a text message from Ash at about 7 AM this morning. It was "Hi. I'm sick." It's the first I've heard from her since Monday night. I swear her rapidly changing moods have someone transposed to me. Sometimes I feel like I just want to be alone and other times I can't stand being be alone as I get "lonely". Vicki thinks my moods swings are worse than a woman and lately I'd probably have to agree.

I'm not sure what I'm going to do this weekend. I'll probably take Ash to Lernerville tomorrow night only to be rained out. Saturday is supposed to be in the mid 40s and rain and then rain/snow on Sunday and only about 40. I looked at some alternate plans, but it's supposed to be miserable everywhere in the Midwest and Northeast.

I've been off to a slow start racing wise this year. The weather was horrid late February and early March. Looks like we'll have our third cancellation in five weeks at Mercer Saturday. The last two Sundays have been beautiful, but now since Tri-City is to open Sunday the weather is going downhill. BTW...Tri-City is going to let Ash sign in with me. I've now managed to get her in free at Lernerville, Mercer, Tri-City, and Lincoln allows guests.

I asked Ash if she wanted to go to Aunt Karen's this weekend, but that was a negative. Maybe I'll go out and buy a TV on Saturday. I want to get satellite TV at the office. Vicki said she'd split it with me.

It's another quiet day here. Two youngins came in to fill out applications. Eva came in to see Doug and Sam and Cow were here to see Blaine.

I brought my leftover pizza from last night to eat for lunch. I can't believe it cost me $7.98 last night. One Tuesday I got the 8" pizza and a 20 oz. pop for just over $5.

Called Ash tonight and she called me back. We talked a few times. She's sounds sick, but was pretty upbeat even though and old lady she knew had a mini-stroke at the mall and she called 911. I'm so proud of that kid. I love her to death.

Went to Jay's Hot Dog's tonight. Got two cheddar dogs, a fry, a malt, and a water for $4.19. Can't beat their prices.

I got everything set to go for Saturday, though I didn't make all the copies because it's almost a sure bet we'll cancel. Ashley's dad is going to pump fuel.

That's all for tonight.

Peace.
